Taylormclean
So my p0304 code came back. I inspected the spark plugs and the #4 plug had gray build up in the insulator, but 1-3 were white. The electrode and everything had the same color only difference was the insulator had some carbon gray color to it. I was wondering if anyone had some insight on that. Also noticed my intercooler was separating at the end tank, would this have something to do with it? Info on the car is it completely stock coming up on 140,000 miles. I had the same code pop up a couple times so I swapped injectors, coil packs and spark plugs and it still came back. It went away for about a month and then I put some gas cleaner in it and now the code is back.
GTTuner
Grey crusty build up (without seeing it) is usually oil. I'd do a compression leak down on that cylinder.
Taylormclean
The insulator was turning a gray color. Not crusty. I should have taken a picture. I'll see if I can get the time to take it back out.
