I want to buy a transmission off of a 2005 outback 2.5i, do you guys know if the transmissions are the same? Thanks in advance. There's a sticky here about it some where. or check out JmP's sticky int he top of the 4th Gen forum. Try car-part.com to find one locally. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
