jazzymt Posted December 18, 2005 Author Share Posted December 18, 2005 Hello Jazzy, It's not a good news for Europe Customer, we have not same radio , I deassembled my HU everything was good except the ribbon caming from radio , this ribbon has 22 wires and yours get 14 wires , so it's impossible to plug your aux in card . I am really sad about that news. And now we haven't any solutions except crappy FM mod. Even we get extra plug for cd-changer but as Mario said , it doesn't work. We must buy extra cd changer and simply hack audio in.... Sad news sad day.....Pattali, I'm very sorry to hear that. Since I did not have access to a metric setup, there's no way I could have guessed, but it's still a bummer. If anyone that ordered the board for a metric radio wants to go thru the hassle of sending it back to me I'll give you a FULL refund. Sorry for the bad news again, but thanks for giving it a try. I think your only other option at this point is to replace the whole setup with the JDM 1 zone AC double din bezel...not an inexpensive option by any means, but at least there's something for the extreme audio enthusiast. The reason mine's 75 min is to make room for the electronic PDF of the instructions which is also on there. For those that have tried, I remember reading that the iPod's headphone jack input provides similar audio when compared to using a line-out dock connector. If the audio input is interrupted with audio quality relays there would be no need to play a zero bit CD. Didi you explore this option. There are simple circuits that sense the presence of voltage and can be used to trigger the relay. Incorporating this would mean when you turn on your IPod, Sat radio etc. The audio would automatically switch to the aux source and turning off the device would restore CD audio. Gain adjustment outside the unit that can stick on the exterior of the HU would be great to level match components to the +\m output levels. It may help with noise to have the output of the external devices at full volume. That's all I have for suggestions as I probably spent $10 in parts. Jazzy's instructions are detailed and the install, as most have been mentioning, is a fairly straightforward process. I would guess that it probably will not work & if so, will extend the previously mentioned refund if you can get it back to me. I'm sure the stereo is NA wide (remember, Canadian market Legacy's are still built in IN). Anyway, tonight might be the night, the race between Claw and I is on... Can someone please tell me the order to plug it in Should the Ground Loop go direclty into the Jazzy Mod first or does it not matter as long as its before the device.
