CrowNaza86
Also where is the noise originating from? I didn't see anything mentioning that.
JJr
It's a AT. Nothing through the steering wheel. Sound is coming from somewhere at the front of the car. Strange. No issues with suspension or feel. Just the sound.
CrowNaza86
Check those nylon nuts on top of the strut. Ensure they're torqued correctly (or just tighten them a bit more). Ensure your spring is seated as well. Stock or modified suspension? Also try raising the front of the car for a bit, at least to where the suspension is unloaded, and then drop it. See if it goes away for a bit.
Swansack
+1 for LCA inner bushing. I had the same noise, and spent way too much time and money changing endlinks and messing with the sway bar. Change out those crap bushings! I have an addiction
JJr
First off, thank you to all who responded, my crazy sound is gone. Checked torque on all suspension parts and my drivers side end-link @ the FSB ( yanked hard on it again at the end-link and heard something)was not @ spec. and required a few 1/4 turns. Makes sense since I did the replacement:eek:
CrowNaza86
Glad to hear. It's such a relief when you cure those ridiculous noises.
JJr
It sure is gonzo, now I can crank up the tunes and not think about. We'll at least after I take it for one test drive and double confirm it's gone LOL!
