Am from Kenya and we have really bad fuel, doesn't help 2.0GT JDM motors have aggressive timing. I've had to dial back as much as 8 degrees in some areas. JMLegacy
Your car does not weigh so much, bro I weighed mine the other day, leather seats, auto tranny, 2.0L crash bar in back, sound system, 2 amps, bass box Went on very accurate scale, car weighed 3,344. So unless u weigh 356 lb, then... Also, ignore SAE correction numbers, for a true reading. It isn't accurate with turbo vehicles, I've heard. Here is my VD I'm on a vf34 turbo, 5EAT, 2.0GT. http://s27.postimg.org/xj93cztpf/dyno2.jpg I removed as much timing as you did. Just be sure to check if the knocking is consistent, and pay attention to knocks in 3rd and 4th gear pull. Don't do full 4th gear pull, it's bad for the engine. munenechris06
Thanks for the color JM. I did the run with the missus in the car am 220 and she is around 130 so 356 is about right. I do need the SAE correction. Avg baro here is 11.75psi on 5500 ft elevation. Noticed it most when tuning boost, had to change the atm correction tables a lot to get boost. Am really impressed with your AFR... You running 12? My cars sooo sensitive to anything above 11. Why do you spool so late though?
JMLegacy
My afr is actually in the 10's, but the car can't see below 11.9 on the ecu. I spool late because of the vf34 turbo. Here is mine with dynojet and SAE corrections. I'm at 2400 Ft. Not sure how you make more torque than I do. I'm at 13* timing, 10.85 AFR and 18.5 psi boost on vf34. It's the SAE that's throwing it off bro http://s24.postimg.org/xru2rrok5/sae_dyno.jpg
