Max Capacity
Are we still grinding down the plate or just run them as they come ? I just bought a used one. There are on marks where the WG was hitting it, so I'm guessing it must have been working fine. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). Canonguy
No issues with mine either. When I installed it onto the bnr 16g I made sure the WG flapper would clear by undoing actuator bracket and moving WG through entire range of motion without obstruction. I have a grimmspeed 2X thick gasket for it just like the Invidia DP on my wagon. This DP also came with a grimmspeed adaptor with a donut, but I'd rather not use that. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). Max Capacity
I had to cut about 1/2" of plate out of the DP to get it to bolt up. I had to plug in the AP twice to get it to load the stage 2 map. Yea, nothing is ever easy. Runs good, it's a little louder, but still no bad for stock mid pipe and no mufflers. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). BoostSLUG
Hey Max, do you have muffler deletes or did you just unbolt the mufflers. I took off my mufflers to see if i wanted a loud exhaust. I took a impromptu 500 mile road trip without the mufflers. They pretty much destroyed by fender liners. They melted them pretty badly and you can see my harness in the rear. Max Capacity
I have deletes. I had them made for the wagon years back. Had to have them shortened for the Spec B. I bought nice tips for them. http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x40/92Si/DSCN5306_zps8cdc8f8a.jpg Here they are on the wagon http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x40/92Si/DSCN4158.jpg 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs.
