awilkie84 Posted September 1, 2014 Share Posted September 1, 2014 Hey Guys, Just wondering how I should go about diagnosing the cause of a sporadic misfire on cylinder 4. It came on last week, I had the code cleared and then it came on a little over a week later. The car's running fine, otherwise. No lurching or sudden RPM drops/spikes. Which cylinder is #4 and is this more likely to be an injector issue or spark related? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Osei Posted September 2, 2014 Share Posted September 2, 2014 4 is driver side near firewall. Take the wire from 4 and swap to 2. Clear code and see if you now get misfire on 2.
