Marc
Has anyone considered this? Or better yet actually done it? Jdm controls are all digital and boss. Saw a unit on ebay a few weeks ago and can't shake the thought of looking more into it. Was curious if any of you guys had any experience with something like that. Zues Marine
not gonna be able to get it working without pretty much whole jdm parts car, there's like 30 different sensors and other pieces of hardware from the other side of the firewall you'd need to get anything working right.. I'm sure it could be done if anyone wants to get technical.. but the amount of effort and time it would take wouldn't even be worth it IMO

Legacy_Guy
If your willing to give it a try, here are the wiring diagrams for the JDM hvac unit that you'll need. I contemplated doing this mod once and from what I read it is a whole lot of work! Like Zues said you'll need a lot of the JDM sensors and from what I remember the JDM heater core as well. http://i717.photobucket.com/albums/ww176/subydude1983/97HVAC_2.jpg http://i717.photobucket.com/albums/ww176/subydude1983/97HVAC_1.jpg
