coblue Posted August 18, 2014 Share Posted August 18, 2014 I'm running Cobb springs with the stock struts, probably 100k miles on the struts so due for new struts. The stock struts are ok but I feel that they sometimes bottom due to the lowering, and the fronts may not have enough rebound damping. Cobb says the springs were designed to work with OEM struts or aftermarket replacements. Are the KYB Excel G any better than stock? It's my daily driver so I'm a little leery of going to Koni 1053 Sports fearing they will be too stiff even with adjustable rebound. What are you running with these springs on the street?
