whiteout
I'm changing the coolant and hoses (I've found 14 so far) on my 2005 GT wagon. The Subaru coolant with additive appears clean. When I removed the small coolant hose between the filler tank and the turbo, the coolant was dark and I wiped some black crud out of the hose with a paper towel. Haven't found this in any of the other hoses. Any ideas on what caused this? john
Max Capacity
heat. I wouldn't worry to much. FWIW, I replaced both caps a while back, just because they were 10 years old. You might want to think about that. See what the rubber seals look like. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).
