twigs Posted July 16, 2014 Share Posted July 16, 2014 When I press the button on my 2008 GT remote nothing happens..so I replaced the remote battery and still nothing happens..so I took out the spare and try pressing the buttons and things would work intermittently or not at all. Seem to recall, I one of my fob's stopped working once when I parked at the dealership to pick up parts. I replaced the battery. Still wouldn't work. When I got home everything was back to normal. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. twigs Posted July 18, 2014 Author Share Posted July 18, 2014 Problem Solved: I went an open the spare remote and saw the battery position then realized that I put the battery in the other remote upside down. Now the other remote works find..the spare battery look like it will need to be replace soon to being it has been in there since 2008..hence why the spare remote worked intermittently...
