1997 legacy gt lift

Recommended Posts

The struts and springs were from a 98 forester. Then i copied the sjr 4 inch lift. This was 4 inch stut lift plus a drive train drop of 3 inches. Kept near same angle on the cv axles. Then 30 mm wheel spacers to get the forester steel wheels wrapped in yokohama ats 215/70r15 to clear.

Running without sway bars.

Looks great! I'm dying to do this, but it's a bit more than I have time for right now.

Were the cv angles pretty extreme before the drive train drop? I've heard 2" is about the max you want to go without it...

I did it all at the same time so i cant tell you for sure.... i would have to think it was though because i previously had 1 inch spacers and forester struts and it appeared to be as much as i would want to stretch the cv
