serx7
Positive FLKC will appear when IAM < 1.0. It's the ECU experimenting with adding small amts of timing back to see if knock returns. W/ all the IAM dropping &/or large FBKC being applied, your car is making much less output than when all is quiet on the knock front. I'm surprised you don't feel the power delivery getting all choppy when the ECU pulls all that timing. When my car used to pull -2 deg via FBKC, it was pretty readily felt seat of the pants, it felt like a stumble/stutter. I never heard knock from inside the cabin while driving even though it was felt seat of pants & showed up in the datalog/AP display. Been meaning to rig up a set of det cans but haven't gotten around to it yet.
mkee87
I probably just don't notice because my car has most likely had problems since I bought it so I don't know any different.
mkee87
Do you think it could be a bad maf? If the engine is sucking in more air than it is metering wouldn't it be adding fuel and running lean and knocking?
mkee87
Replaced the MAF and the car runs beautifully now. No more knock, a/f learning is where it's supposed to be and hitting over 210 g/s at wot.
