kelviny
Hi everyone, I have my 05 Legacy GT for a year, now I saw and know the 2006 GT LTD have NAV system option, the system is my favorite option but not available at that time in US. My question is do anyone know subaru dealer have offer for current legacy owner purchase, and upgrade the car to have nav system install? thanks everyone. chuckzul
I doubt any dealership will retrofit the nav system. I doubt if anybody knows whether it is a relatively drop in system or not. I don't know of anybody who has even attempted to retorfit the nav. I think it's possible but the cost, time, and effort are probably not worth it. Better to buy an aftermark unit like the Ecslipe 5495, faceplate bezel, and install that yourself. Seems like that approach is far more bang for the buck then the stocker. Opie
Easiest way to retrofit is to trade into an '06 It is not a drop in for the '05's and would be very, very cost prohibative. Just go buy a Garmin IQue, then you can move it car to car or carry it around.... http://www.garmin.com/products/iQueM3/ http://www.garmin.com/products/iQueM3/graphics/pt-iQueM3RF-SM.jpg
