5280GT Posted May 18, 2014 Share Posted May 18, 2014 My legacy GT came with a K&N typhoon air intake and recently the cel came on. The ecu has not been tuned after the intake was installed, the cel code said cylinder 3 misfire. I'm wondering if there is a link between the intake and the cel or if it's another problem. Most of don't use a CAI, the stock one is hard to beat. http://www.cryotuneperformance.com/ Your going to want to have the car tuned and get it off the factory MAP. Most misfires are a bad injector or bad coil, pick one and swap it with another and see if the CEL follows it. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs.
