MrTris
That's not your ignition, that's an inline Fuel Pressure Regulator, I believe. Has nothing to do with spark.
MrTris
Neither are it. The gasket he's talking about is above that. Goes between the metal part and the plastic part. You should be able to see a bright orange nub on any of the four intake runners where the plastic meets the metal. It's about twice the size of the nubs on the side of brand new tires. firehawk618
Theoretically, instead of draining the gas tank (hard work and expensive) why couldn't he just dump like 3-4 bottles of octane booster into the tank? Or even add some race/av gas to the mix to dilute the regular? Better yet, just drive it out and keep out of the boost as much as possible. NO WOT pulls and all will be fine. It's not like we have 12.5:1 compression or anything too crazy going on. Just a turbo therefore even with crap octane it's not a huge deal if you're aware AND drive appropriately. 10' CTS-V, A6, Airraid, 2.4 upper, ID850's, self tuned. SOLD:06' LGT Wagon. BNR16G, Catless UP, DOWN, Hexmods VB, Hexmods diff bushings, BIG TMIC. Best 0-60: 4.651 by AP 1/4= 13.678@100.73 mph, 1.945 60', Automatic transmission. JBear
That doesn't sound better than trying to up the octane to where it belongs to me.
BLiTzd
Everything seems fine after the octane booster and the battery reset it's been like 320 miles light is still off
