twisty
when i got my doors painted, i tried to get the trim off beforehand. i could easily get the inner clips undone once i had the glass out of the way, but one of the end clips was under a metal bracket that is part of the actual door skin and couldnt be reached. i couldnt see a way to get it off without breaking it, so i left the trim on and had it painted at the same time. Zues Marine
That trim is a nightmare to get off. The adhesive beneath it is like jb weld!
twisty
i used a heat gun to soften it up, it was coming off quite nicely until i got to the end clips

Bandit240
I might try to do something with my grille. Right now it's painted black around the edges and red in the middle. Was keeping the same theme as my truck. Might do the mesh deal, but paint the mesh red.
