Squeek! Probably a strut. Options?

Recommended Posts

Every time I get out of my vehicle, something squeeks. Near positive it's my strut. It's only the rear driver side though. Everyone looks at me when I get out of my vehicle as if some fat guy just got out of a 78' hoopty something. Lol, I weigh a buck 70.

It's an 05 LGT with 150k. Bother replacing one strut or just go for them all?

Not interested in the whole "going fast" thing. It's pretty much stock and I get groceries with it. sti pinks?

It's funny, I have a 2013 2.5 with 29K miles, everything OEM. No accidents, no potholes, no heavy loads, nothing. But I have also noticed suspension squeaks while driving lately.

Has anyone else had this issue on a 2013 or 5th gen?

It can also be your sway bar bushings or end links as well, but at 150K you are due for struts anyway.

I have not done anything yet. I have almost 30K miles so I want to get this nailed down before the warranty is up. It seems hard to believe the car would be getting squeaks this early in its life. I also own a 1991 Honda Prelude with 198K miles and that didn't develop any noises until well over 100K or more.

Have you seen any other posts on this with 5th gen?
