SubieAA Posted April 13, 2014 Share Posted April 13, 2014 I had a stuttering problem about 1.5 years ago and while taking it to the dealer for full tune-up, they mentioned new ECu recommended upgrade from Subaru. I figured I could reset my base map with my Accesport if I wanted to, and had them chip the ECU. The problem turned out to be misfiring which I fixed finally with a coil replacement, but what are my options for getting back to a stage 1 Cobb base map? Trying to reset the base map gives me ER HC on the dash. I can only overlay a map and that is not working properly with the base map installed by dealer.
