Kodybarbera Posted April 2, 2014 Share Posted April 2, 2014 After I come to a stop and hit the throttle to start moving again, I'm getting a banging sound from the rear. At first I thought it was something rolling in my trunk. So I checked it out, took my ice scraper out and went to see if it made a difference. It didn't. What could that possibly be? Max Capacity Posted April 2, 2014 Share Posted April 2, 2014 U-joint. Not very common but there have been a few with the center carrier bearing issues. Ride in the back seat while someone drivers the car, you can hear a lot from back there. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).
