The_Josh
i have a small leak that is dripping down from the subframe when parked every since i did the head gaskets. I've narrowed it down to coming from the top of the block I pulled the intercooler and used a black light and I can see oil on top of the block on the turbo side just left of the centerline of the block. There is this hose that comes out of the block (black 3/4" ish hose with a factory clamp. ) it shows its a little wet with fresh oil there. But still can't figure out how it would run down to the back of the engine? There isn't any oil between the turbo and the block (up and down) but there is fresh oil on the turbo side of the block, which would be directly above where it is dripping from on the bottom side In this picture you can see the green florescent oil http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j124/chevelle02/blue%20Fin/IMG_20140325_161454_zpsgxzlfbya.jpg Location: http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j124/chevelle02/blue%20Fin/IMG_20140325_161503_zpsc4vmslw6.jpg Sent from AutoGuide.com Free App Here is the hose that I believe is leaking. Is a shirt S shaped hose. Its wet around the bottom with fresh oil http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j124/chevelle02/blue%20Fin/IMG_20140325_164242_zpsfk41bnb5.jpg Sent from AutoGuide.com Free App it somehow is coming from the top around the circled area and flowing down the back where i drew the black lines http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j124/chevelle02/chevelle02012/ScreenShot2014-03-25at52452PM_zps57194c74.png

The_Josh
Do you see the picture with the mirror? Its that vent line that seems to be leaking. Is that the pcv line? Is there really enough oil going in that line to leak as much as it does? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

The_Josh
I've poured over the manual and read a lot of PCV threads and haven't quite figure out whats going on. the best guess i have is that there is oil coming out of the crankcase vent on the right near the center line of the crankcase. anyone have any clue why this would happen or if there is a leak somewhere else nearby? http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j124/chevelle02/chevelle02013/ScreenShot2014-03-26at114703AM_zpsc33d625b.png

Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk ya that is part of the system. my best advice is to pull up a digram online of the PCV system and check each rubber line. mine had a hairline crack in one and it would fill one of the valley's on the turbo side of the block near the back right near one of the spots to put an oil pressure sensor in. its very tight in there. might be easier to pull the manifold off if u do make sure u get now o rings for the manifold when u put it back on. but if its not that possibly an oil line to the turbo. there is only so many places it can be.
