WylieOne
Hey guys. I am new to the forum and am digging it. It is getting me more into my Spec B. I think that it would be awesome to get out and race the car next weekend. Where have you Colorado folks been taking the GTs out to race or at least drive "recreationally"? Need some ideas. I missed the meet at Red Rocks today.
KBGRIZZLY64
High plains raceway, bandimere, and couple different roads in the mountains. Anything been done with your car, mods? Priorities change when car parts come into the equation

WhiteMonster06
You're closer to high plains raceway and pikes peak raceway than bandimere. If you're looking for "recreational" driving then check out a group on Facebook called Nationwide Productions....
Con.Harr91
You could have some fun up Pike's but I don't know what would happen if you got caught sliding around...LOL Much more terrifying than fun! I was putzing up and down the mountain last year in a borrowed base model Mini, and even that had my nerves up. I will say that its less stressful at night because you can't see how close you are to a horrible death. '03 Forester X 5mt - Engine Seized at 262k miles. WylieOne
I had no idea that Pueblo Motorsport Park even existed. Have you ever been? The website seems pretty "Micky mouse" but the track seems like it is pretty ligit. Apparently it went out of business for a bit but someone bought it and is back up. Im not a big Drag racing guy. Its all about the turns. The track is about the same length as High Plains and similar in shape and turn configurations as well. I may try the Pueblo deal because it is closer to me than Northeast Denver. I'll bet you see cooler cars at High Plains, as Pueblo is not exactly acclaimed for its affluence. rizzors25
The pueblo track is a decent size but its pretty flat, not really much in terms of elevation change. It does feel pretty under funded thats for sure (its been awhile since I was there) but there were still a fair amount of people there. Didn't stick around for too long, but I drove on it once http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y271/shankskank/240%20sx/pueblo4.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y271/shankskank/240%20sx/pueblo1.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y271/shankskank/240%20sx/pueblo2.jpg
