Derrickmd30
Was doing my shifter bushings and thought I could get the pin out with a smaller screw. Well the screw broke off. Any one have any suggestions on how to remove it? Mechanic said he has to drop the transmission and drill it out. I'm thinking I can just drop the rear of the transmission and use a cut off wheel to cut the coupler in half use a pry bar to break it. Tried heat and didn't work. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/14/yhunuqyq.jpg Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
Osei
Can you just remove the bushing bolt and then unscrew the assembly from where the nut is? I am obviously missing something here. O.
Derrickmd30
Actually no. That's the side that on the transmission. Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
JJay03
Might have to drop the trans and tap it out from the top side or drill it out. Would be a good time to fix that oil leak too.
spooln30
Did you get that bolt out? Looks like your output seal is leaking pretty good.
JJay03
That could be the access plate on top leaking or even the neutral switch. That upper plate was leaking like that on mine but the rear seal was fine.
lockmedic
Might be able to pull the extension housing and get it out that way. I think the shifter arm will come out with it. Could be wrong, I have been before.
