As I've been told by countless people, start with handling upgrades, so can any of you help recommend good handling upgrades to start with? Midrange money-wise, but I'm hoping to put lots of power into it later, so I'd like mods that'll last and hold the power. Max Capacity Posted March 13, 2014 Share Posted March 13, 2014 Welcome to the forum. How many miles on the turbo and engine ? These turbos seem to last about 120,000 miles or less in most cars. Plan to replace it before it goes and takes out the engine. learn how to check the oil level and never let it get low. Get a piece of paper and write down what your plans are then put a $ amount next to it. Then figure out what you really want to do. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
