dcgt05
Just noticed that my driver side bumper isn't mating with the fender and there's a noticeable gap. Have searched this forum and referred to a repair manual I have but I can't seem to figure out how the hell to get the missing clips into place. It can't be that hard but I'm stumped. Apparently I can't figure out how to take the detailed shot in focus either but that's another issue... Any help much appreciated.
mr.hicksta
That area should just push in. If it doesn't, I suggest taking off the bumper and checking to see if the area the bumper seats is broken.
Nubie
Yes that corner should just push and lock in, although there is a body clip 3 or 4 inches to the right of that headlight. Even so it should not affect that corner. Do what hicksta suggested.
dcgt05
The passenger side is tight and doesn't pop out like the driver side so something is missing or broken or out of shape. Got a link to the 'remove bumper' procedure?
KartRacerBoy
I bet you bought your car used and it had a minor collision that broke the bumper clip on that side.
