mtchll50
so after successfully rebuilding and installing my turbo. I am getting a leak from the oil return line. the lower clamp just isn't tight enough to seal. I am planning on replacing both clamps with worm clamps. My question for you guys is, would you guys recommend pulling the turbo to do this (which I really don't wanna do). or pulling the DP and UP pipe and hoping it gives me enough room to move the fact. clamps out of the way and install worm clamps. has anyone done this and have some knowledge they could share with me? KCwagon
I would remove the down pipe and just add some worm clamps in addition to the factory clamps. You might also make sure the integrity of the existing hose is ok as they tend to get brittle/hard with age.

Max Capacity
I just went with a OEM hose. But go to NAPA and tell them what you want to do and they should have a high temp oil resistant hose you for, bring the old one with you. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs.
