GrindinGearz83 Posted January 30, 2014 Share Posted January 30, 2014 What's up fellas. I just picked up an 05 LGT LIMITED last night ( I'll post up pics this afternoon). I realized the the driver side view mirror was incredibly blurry.passenger side is fine but driver side isn't. Anyone else have this problem?i searched the forums but came up empty. Call Fredbeans, a Vendor here and ask the parts guy's if you can buy just the mirror. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). doobaruGT Posted January 30, 2014 Share Posted January 30, 2014 Sounds like it may have been etched with a wicked chem compound. Someone probably thought they were being slick and thought, "this will get it clean", but basically ruined the glass. A friend of mine did the same thing when he tried to clean his safety glasses with Acetone. Needless to say, he was no longer seeing clearly. Updated parts list since original part-out here.
