T_Altland27
I have a 09 NA 2.5 legacy and I was just wondering has anyone done just the muffler delete and if so how does it sound or does it throw a cel? I you tubed this and from what I watched and heard that it sounds pretty good. So I'd just like to know from you guys if anyone done this at all? spartan
I can't imagine it would throw a CEL, but I assume it would be very loud. Here is a thread you should look into: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/exhaust-audio-video-clip-compilation-thread-2-5i-edition-130408.html?t=130408&highlight=exhaust
ras06LGT
You won't throw a CEL light. I made up some muffler deletes for my 2006 LGT and it's a really good level of noise. Just be aware that turbos make great mufflers, so the NA it going to be quite a bit louder.

You can buy Nameless deletes or have a set fabbed up easy using tips of your choice and a 2 inch 2 bolt flange. The sound would be louder than stock and a bit of rasp but nothing like removing the resonator and mufflers and running straight pipe.
