I have a 93 parts car sitting at my house right now and I was looking at the windows on it and they look to be the same shape. Can anyone verify that a gen 1 window is different from a gen 2? spooln30 Posted January 14, 2014 Share Posted January 14, 2014 Well if you don't replace those felt window guides you'll only scratch the new glass. I had this same issue but didn't replace the glass. It's those plastic with felt pieces that snap into the door and when they are older they fold down and the metal spring that pushes the felt part onto the glass scratches everytime the window goes down then up. I just replaced mine and costed me $35 at the dealer for all four. There's 2 per front door all being the same part #. Far as the glass the 93 glass will not work in a second gen.
