Stang70Fastback Posted January 13, 2014 Author Share Posted January 13, 2014 Yeah, I suppose it could theoretically be IACV related. My thought was maybe once my throttle position gets past 1%, the car thinks "the throttle body is opening, I should close the IACV a bit," but because mine is old and acting up, it maybe closes too far initially, and then the car goes, "oh $%#&!!!" and opens it back up. That's my theory. Unfortunately, the IACV is just enough of a PITA to take off that I really don't feel like doing it until spring... not to mention that I've had it off the car and cleaned it once before, and I don't really feel like doing it again unless I can replace it with one which has significantly fewer miles on it.
