nouse4aname Posted January 6, 2014 Share Posted January 6, 2014 It won't let me actually go into reverse without using it, but it doesn't keep me from going past 5th's position when trying to get there. It was like that when I got it and it's my first six speed(just had 5s before) so didn't know whether it was just normal. I've got its position in muscle memory now so not a big deal, but my tuner noticed it and found it odd. Is there some adjustment on it? Just need replaced? Or is it just normal to be able to shift into a ghost "7th" gear position without using the lockout? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You should not be able to go past the 5th/6th gear "column" without using the reverse lockout cable IME.
