AWDrift123
Thanks for the recommendation, it is very much appreciated. But I can build a much more solid pc for less price, I used to work in custom pc industry. Have you seen road runner sw? Since it's open source I can pretty much customize GUI to fit my spec.B Also there are many software that I run and not compatible with Mac (due to my work requirement) Tbh, I plan to run rain meter + road runner... I like the look of having two screens too...hahaha

AWDrift123
Roadrunner is a software you run on the PC, GUI for car application. See link below http://guino.home.insightbb.com/roadrunner.html It will begin next month and plan to finish by summer. Pictures will definitely be up! I have too many projects to do prior, like angel/demon eyes, full stage 2, go watch xgames in aspen, etc etc. hahaha Where there's will, it will be done; success is a mind game

BHanz34
Nope, I will not be going that route. Open Source Do you have someone to do it locally? Or you gonna be sending away data logs?
AWDrift123
I have few local tuners that will "open road tune"...I'm not so sure what that's like just yet. Once I have it tuned professionally I need to learn the rest of the open source tuning world. LoL Is your leggy tuned?
BHanz34
Slightly. I had to put TGV deletes on the car so I has to get all those codes deleted from an open source tune. We tweeted a few other things but I am waiting a bit to install my uppipe and downpipe. I already have a stromung Catback. But a road tune will basically be you doing a bunch of 3rd gear pulls from 2k rpm to redline. Then adjusting the tables a bunch of times until it's good. So I hope there is a good and safe stretch of road for you to do that at

Jeenyus2112
What do you mean by switch back LED? When you did your HID conversion did you do a complete retrofit, swap out the projectors? I want to put in some LEDs for my DRL is that what you mean by switch back? I recently did a HID swap on my 07 B, have yet to open the headlights to do the projector as it is -30 here. I read about how the DRLs have to be disabled on the 07s by cutting the wire, but I thought a DRL canceller would work, which is does not seem to do anything. On the 06 it's simply unplugging the connection isnt it?
AWDrift123
Switch back LED is "when you have light on, it's white. then when using blinker, it is amber" I had the amber corners for long time, since my mirror blinkers are amber.. But now, my corners are white and when using blinker, it matches the mirrors [ame= ] [/ame] on my 06, I just had to unplug the DRL..

AWDrift123
So it has been some time since the update. Last weekend I was driving as usual and hear whining noise when I engaged the clutch. Then after bit of driving, metal spinning, grinding, clink clank, you name it. Few blocks later, my clutch pedal had lost all its pressure...leaving me to driving the car without a clutch. I barely got the car on and off the tow truck, my car is not lowered (yet) http://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w490/sean_123_83/AWDrift123/1_zps64a1562b.jpg Then here's what we found... This would be my throwout bearing http://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w490/sean_123_83/AWDrift123/3_zpsd1709e99.jpg It caused my snout to be "chopped off" :O http://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w490/sean_123_83/AWDrift123/4_zps02991528.jpg Then this was my solution + sleeve kit, new fork http://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w490/sean_123_83/AWDrift123/2_zpsa6025e79.jpg Comp Stage 2 w/ LWFW. Put about 30 miles on it today, slowly but surely breaking them (and myself) in! Next week I will be doing... 1) AV hack for ipod (actually iphone but yea) integration with switchable AV input. 2) FM modulator for sound (multi port) 3) 2 12" JL + JL amp (not best but it's been sitting there and my infinity blew) 4) Apply pre-cut tint (darker) 5) Rear view cam hack 6) *hopefully* finally the angel/demon eye combo!!! 7) oil change, detail etc etc... Stay tuned!!!

AWDrift123
I had answered this in the other thread: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/official-spec-b-thread-20169.html?p=4808662#post4808662 it was actually fairly simple, here's what I did. Parts - FM Modulator (using existing antenna cables) - Subaru antenna adapter kit (2 pieces one for male / one for female) - (3) RCA male to female "extension" cables (from radioshack @ $8 each) - (2) RCA splitter "Y" cables - iPod AV out cable - 3.5mm female adapter Steps 1) Plug RCA male to AV in plug on back of navigation unit 2) Cut and ground gray wire (so you can netflix on the fly ^^) 3) Connect FM modulator using antenna adapter kit 4) Supply good current to modulator (I tapped my cig lighter plug by coin tray) 5) Extend audio RCA (left and right) from modulator using radioshack cables 6) Split radioshack cable with "Y" cables 7) One set from "Y" to iPod AV out cable, one set from "Y" to 3.5mm female adapter 8) Connect RCA cable from navigation unit to video input on iPod cable 9) Hide cables and modulators 10) Start car and check if FM modulator is working (with sound input to headphone jack first) 11) Test with iPod, push "info" button and it should switch to dark screen, play video I did not have chance to take pictures while doing the work...I should of If someone REALLY REALLY wants step by step pictures...I'll take it apart...ha ha ha hope this kind of answers your question
