adot111
Does any one know the hub bolts torque specs? I found the service manual shows 47.9ft-lb, I don't know it is right or not, the number seems low for me. I doubt it because when I check other torque spec on the manual, the axle nut is 140ft-lb, the wheel nut is 66ft-lb, which are most people set 177ft-lb, and 90ft-lb. So, I am confuse now, what is torque specs for those 4 bolts? Thanks advance
ras06LGT
Per the service procedure 47.9 ft-lb is correct for the hub bolts (both front and rear). The axle nut is 162 ft-lb for the front axle, 177 ft-lb for the rear axle, and the lug nuts are 81.1 ft-lb all around.
