Ridgeracer Posted August 20, 2005 Share Posted August 20, 2005 Hey all. I have been experiencing a rattling noise in the rear left corner of my car for months with no solution in sight. It seems to only be audible when I transverse over small bumps in the road or go over manhole covers. Rumble strips also induce the noise too. I have taken the car down to the dealer but they claim they can't find anything. I have also removed the rear strut to see if anything is binding up but I can see or hear anything. The car is completely stock suspension wise except for the JDM swaybar with AVO poly bushings front and rear. Please help.!! Thx. BTW...a couple of months back a NYC cabby bumped into the rear kinda hard while in traffic but the only damage I had was the dimple marks from the screws that hold the license plate on. slowGT Posted December 4, 2011 Share Posted December 4, 2011 Bumping an old thread rather than making a new one. I've got the same rattle. Doesn't seem to be the rear door skin.
