Boostjunkie
They are supposed to be pretty good. Not top of the line, but very competitively priced. I think there is a thread over at NASIOC about them from a while ago.

NSFW
In Japan market, 595 is known among drifting field and has been ranked the 3rd popular tire to Japanese drifting enthusiasts. Not my kinda tire...
OhBe1
My current Miata came with the non-drift 595 RS, which has a tread almost identical to that of the Toyo T1S (not T1R), or GY Eagle F1 GS(?). They were actually a decent summer tire, with good grip, response, & wet performance. But the 17" wheels looked silly on a first-gen (well, any gen) Miata, hence they ended up on my son's Civic. IMNSHO, "drift" and "high-performance" don't belong in the same sentence - by Federal's own advertising, smoke and noise are the design requirements for the 595; traction and response are requirements for the 595 RS. 06LOB2.5i MT, JDMRSB, GYTTs, HPS, LGT Mufflers & Leather Wheel, SubiMomo Knob, Inalfa Moonroof, Clutch Switch Bypass, DeDRLd, DeChimed, & Straight Headrest. Naylor
i have them on my car right now (came with the wheels). they are a little loud, but seem to handle well. i would recommend them for daily driving with an occasional spirited drive.
