Max626
Anyone know where I can get a replacement molding for my sunroof, its worn and has a gap which allows air to enter. Also for the window/door molding any tips on getting a better seal between the glass and the rubber or would I have to replace the rubber? It seems to be in good condition but I get a slight whistle from it....
Stevo F
If your rubber weatherstripping is drying out or shrinking, causing leaks and such, I used the old trick applying some transmission sealer to it (which is made to swell up transmission seals to stop leaking). It helped get rid of some leaks we had with the T-Top seals of our old Nisan Pulsar. of course I was getting water leaks, not necessarily air leaks, but it still might work for you.
