Can anyone guess what might have changed to cause in increase in power (assuming the butt dyno is correct)? I have a theory - and it doesn't involve reduced friction losses over time. No offense, but it just seems like asking why a car could get slower with age is kind of a silly question - wouldn't you expect it to get slower? No one ever asks why a car would get faster.
