outbackslc
Looking to invest in lowering the outback. I'm 17 and new to the modding process, but I was wondering if you guys could help me out with some suggestions on brand and size of coilovers for my '05 outback. sheppo9
Just get some BC BR's to suit BL/BP Legacy, they are pretty good and should be around the $1k mark.
boxkita
Why? This seems like the least useful change to make to an Outback, and the one with the most extra associated work. lowering an outback is more involved than lowering an LGT, as you're starting from a higher point. Contact BarManBean for info on what this takes, as he's in the process of doing this. That said, have you read these stickies: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/lowering-springs-recommendations-suggestions-please-111909.html http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/mach-v-dans-mega-suspension-guide-5941.html Build my car Boxkita Track days

I really liked the look of it and wanted to lower the OB. Although it will be a lot more work for not a lot of gain, I like the looks of lowered outbacks that I have seen. Thanks for providing those stickies since I am still learning a lot about my own car.
boxkita
I can't remember the guy's name, however, there is a very trick lowered outback in California posted on here. It's black and slammed. Truly a work of art. I think its in the outback photo section. At any rate, he has an extensive parts list to duplicate his efforts. AZP Installs
Things are different on the generation you are showing in your picture to the generation you are thinking of lowering. As Boxkita said, follow the threads and see what will work for you. Additionally at 17 years old, you should probably be saving money to pay for maintenance and repairs rather than modifying it... Before modding always make sure that your maintenance is up to snuff. -Mike Paisan http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/91072632.jpg http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/145749898/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/133406601.jpg http://www.whiteline.com.au/images/logos/perf1.jpg 11+ Years Maintaining, Modifying and Educating TriState Subaru Enthusiasts. Those are the simple things done to that car.
