This is the Whispbar system and they are more aerodynamic then most systems and do not need a fairing to be quiet.... It even came with the XM unit and cables but no antenna. Also got in a new non extended armrest. ----------------- And .... So ya. Went out of town the other night to go eat and take the 'safe way' (route using a light instead of several stop signs that people sometimes run) to get where I am going. At the light was 2 lanes of turning, I was the second car on the inner lane of a 2 lane turning lane. A Charter bus cut my lane and smashed up my car. Car isn't badly damaged. Bumper is beyond help. Fog is fine. Fender extension is scuffed badly. Fender itself is fine. Pass Mirror has a scuff. Front Pass Tires is shredded. Front Pass Rim is damaged. No more extension armrest that my elbow is always hitting The Aux project has the port and the wires ran but the head unit didn't get swapped out today I don't care for chrome so chrome be gone from the shifter surround. I think with the black it would look good just cleard and even better darkened up a little. How easy was it to swap out your stereo head unit? I NEED iPod hookup! Geckoboy86 Posted March 11, 2014 Author Share Posted March 11, 2014 I was probably gonna get a second set of lights. The black GT ones from 05. The radio is an easy swap. The piece that I painted black around the shifter is the only pain. It needs to come out to make that plate come out. The rest is easy. It is easier having 2 people when it comes to the head unit. I hate chrome, but didn't want to do another black grille. So I went with silver to match the lower portion of my bumper. Need to redo it with a darker silver. And now a random rear shot. All together and all I can say is sexy. People were asking got a size comparison. The OB grille sits flatter to the ground so I used a roll of tape to help level it out.
