4pasnu
Looked everywhere and dealership and tech is useless. There is a seal where the 90 degree union fitting goes into the radiator for the transmission fluid. Anyone know the part number for the seal or a replacement someone has used? 4pasnu
yes, on illustration #2 where hose #16 goes into the radiator. There is a 90 degree brass union that screws into the radiator and that attaches to the #16 hose with a hose clamp. The double threaded coupler screws into radiator, there is a flat washer and a metal washer/ rubber seal. The seal has seperated from the washer and is leaking trans fluid. I can see and will not replace the whole radiator over a $5 seal/oring/gasket. Dealer had nothing on there screen and tech said there isnt one. Looked on a few at work and at dealer and they all have the flat washer and seal so it must or should be a replacement part
quick4dr
just add an aftermarket Hayden trans cooler plum the lines through there with a external thermostat and don't use the radiator for the trans. problem solved. then get a nice aluminum radiator and benefit from the the added cooling of that and your trans will be safe. just my .

GEORGEROV
Hi 4pasnu , Sounds like what you are describing is what we in Scotland call a " Dowty Washer " . A metal washer with a central elastomer ring . Any place that deals in hydraulic fittings should have them in various sizes .
