hi,

I just spoke to Perrin and your exhaust was test fitted on Perrin Legacy GT before sent to polisher and it fit perfect.

did you notice any damage to the exhaust after you received it?

Now that the greddy evo2 was released for the sedan I am stuck, like that dog with two bowls of food that starves to death. Can't decide if I want to go civil and get the borla, go nuts and get the perrin, or just experiement and hope the 95db rating greddy gave their evo2 is for real. If you guys have any recommendations, by all means post'em. I am pretty sure the perrin is gonna be too loud for my tastes, but what about this 95db rating greddy is claiming (I assume WOT)?

Anyone out there with a meter and a borla want to chime in? Anyone know how many db out stock setup is?

I will be getting the ION one in a couple of weeks (not quite ready yet).

Jack swears that it is as loud as a stock M3 at WOT and quieter at idle, that is with one resonator. You can have it built with none, one or two resonators. With carbon fibre to reduce weight. With ceramic coatings also.

I will likely be the first person with one so i will post pics and vid when I get.

If you are so worried about how loud your car is going to be, why mod the exhaust system at all?

What's the point of spending $1,000 for 5hp and stock noise level?

Isn't the point of a catback to enhance the throaty growl of our 2.5 boxer engine?

speaking just for myself, I'd like a little more noise at idle, and more noise at WOT, but not much more noise at cruising speed - otherwise it can drone and get on your nerves. Some exhaust makers aim for those sorts of goals too....

getting out of the legacy game
