Belt Change Tool ????

Recommended Posts

It's about time for an accessory belt change on my 2.5 Legacy. Rock Auto asked if I needed a belt "replacement tool"??? My first time but it looks like a pretty straight forward job. Belt covers, tension bolts and lock bolts..am I missing something??? Any help is appreciated.

Thanx ;)

Some belts call for a stretch tool as the belts are stretch belts but for your legacy you are correct, loosen tension bolts, replace belts and reapply tension.

As a good measure check the tension on belts after a few hundred miles and adjust if needed.
