Odd problem

Hey guys, so I was backing up today with my wheel turned all the way. Due to the wheel being turned I had to give it more gas, as I did so, my power steering went out, then my dash lit up with about every light you get once you then your car on. First reaction: shut the car off. Gave it a minute then I restarted, the car was fine. Any ideas?

Ditto what he said above.

Usually that means the alternator has an issue but if you restarted and it's running without issue I wouldn't worry. Check and make sure the belt is still on snuggly.

Check your terminals for corrosion, loose connections, etc.

I'm gonna agree on this one. Intermittent electrical problems that I've seen are usually no fault of anything other than a loose connection. Just go under the hood and start wiggling things to see if you can find anything loose. If you've got a multimeter, check the charging circuit as well, and make sure that you've got good continuity through the whole thing.
