urdrwho
I was checking the health of vac lines on the 97 Ouback and pulled on of the vac lines off the engine side of the carbon canister. The larger of the two lines had an oily substance running from it. I smelled it and there was no gasoline smell, I rubbing my fingers together and it was oily. I pulled the same line off my 95 Legacy 2.2 and it was clean. What the heck can that oily crap be? There wasn't any vac at the metal line should there be and if so....when? Sludgeroo
There will slightly at higher rpms. That's just condensed crankcase gases. I wouldn't worry.
