Replaced my brake light switch/stop lamp switch on my 2007 Subaru Legacy GT spec.B. ABS light is gone the first drive and hasn't come back on yet. Nice! I was looking into that too. The switch stop lamp or brake light switch, I hear it's a common issue with a lot of Subaru's. There were days the ABS didn't come on for me, but it would eventually come back the next day or so. I did record a video and saw that my brake lights weren't working like they should when I use the brake pedal, but it seemed like I would have to push down hard for the lights to work just a bit. I'm going to try and replace that little brake switch. Should be easy, right? Thanks for reporting back!

Hey! I think I'm currently going through this problem too with my 07 Spec. B! Well, my ABS light started coming on somewhat recently after I did a replacement on my front brake pads. I'm driving it normally and the brakes work to bring me to a stop and all, until a few more stops. The light comes on and stays on until I shut the car off, and the same procedure happens again when I turn the car back on. Yesterday, I was trying to figure it out; tried checking and redoing my front brakes again. Making sure I didn't over-tighten or under-tighten my caliper bolts to the slider pins. Everything seemed fine! I was pretty confident in my work and the brakes are still working. I also just realized that the ABS light comes on even when I'm in park pushing down the brake pedal a few times to the floor.
