  1. Ah good point, well I have had a few leaks, which were fixed but they were generally at the actuator (or just in the boot in general) and were the mechanic's issue. The only leak I have gotten from general ware would be from the front bag lead itself. Whilst it is braided it was not up to the challenge of being turned left and right as well as up and down. My mechanic is in the process of getting a better grade of braided pipe to replace it. I was just pleased it was not the bag itself. I was told by my mechanic to air it out as it is simply safer to do so. He isnt even comfortable with my air being in the tank overnight. But we had this discussion about airing it up and down after complaining to the distributor about the lead leaking. The distributor asked "do you lower the car?". We all laughed. The whole ******* point of having air suspension is to raise and lower the car. So I do, not as much as I did when I first got it - but I do quite a lot. Generally when parked only now days or when going up/down shitty drive ways and entrances. Have you got any more photos of your car? Aired out etc? Id love to see how low the front bar is. Oh and as for my controller, it is quite small, with a little screen readout of each bag's PSI - very similar to AirLift 3H (but a cheap chinese knockoff). I have a metal plate stuck to the back of it so I then mount it on a small magnetic air vent mobile phone holder on the drivers side air vent next to the window! I have to kinda move my head to see it, but I don't really need to see it when driving anyways.
  2. Oh thank **** we are similar. I was really worried about mine. But seeing as you're using Airrex it's likely the same if not similar suspension, they're all rebranded stuff. You're lower by 2cm at lowest. I'm going to tell my mechanic to adjust it lol. Also I air it out whenever I park [emoji85] Also I put switchbacks, halos and demon eyes in. More pics soon!
  3. Measurements (from ground to the guard): 0psi Front = 62cm Rear = 61cm 100psi Front = 70cm Rear = 68cm 50/45psi Front = 63.5cm Rear = 63.5cm Haha shit I didn't realise how low I was driving.
  4. 50psi front 45psi rear as my bare minimum daily height. Any lower and I'll get knocking. But normally 55 front and 50 rear is safe. Fully loaded car I would just do 60/60. Any higher and the ride quality would be shit. I can do measurements and photos too if you'd like. It's best to do it in the garage as it's as level as you can get it.
  5. I'd love some pictures and measurements of your car fully raised and fully lowered.
  6. Well the double bellows I had did not make the car level when fully dropped. It was about 2cm higher in the rear. Winding down the shocks wasn't an option as it would have killed the ride quality and again it wouldn't match the front. So yeah they offered the lower rear control arm. They also couldn't get new struts that would fit the bag etc. They ordered some in to try but it failed. These bags are likely not even for my car hence the issue. But now it seems all good. Except the extension length doesn't seem right. I was told by an airbag manufacturer that it should be extending higher. Note my mechanic is specialises in racing and tuning. My car is their 2nd air suspension install. Other air suspension places are next to non existent and charge x4 as much. Live and learn. If I went with airlift suspension and accuair I would have paid about 2.5x more than I did now and I'd have 100% less drama.

  8. Airllen aka KS Racing aka KSport aka AirMext. Just got the car back today. Looks like it's working again. I made them make me a new carpeted MDF board and clean up the lines and cabling. I've had a few issues with the controller, bags and ECU (and they've replaced it) but hopefully for now all is well. Note I had to get a 40mm lowered BRZ rear lower control arm to fit double bellow bags on the rear. How my car looks (it's about 10-20mm lower now): Before bags: I have more photos here: https://imgur.com/a/rOBbqEz
  9. I'm in the process of changing the air tank (was given an iron one when I ordered aluminium). But this resulted in my mechanic needing it overnight. Once I got it back I drove down the road and noticed my right rear bag was dropping in psi. I turned back and they failed to stop the leak. The bag was empty. After about an hour or so they "fixed it". I attempted to drive out again and I lifted the car and dropped it again. But the the same rear bag wouldn't drop. Turns out they broke the actuator. I had to leave my car there again. It's been days now. They're now saying they blew the actuator's ecu line to the bag. Anyways yeah so that's what I'm up to. Please guys. Don't buy cheaper alternatives and don't get specialist items installed by specialists in something completely different.
  10. If I'm buying headlights and or other lights do they have to be canbus safe versions?
  11. I am absolutely dying from this rattle that happens above the right rear passenger that only seems to occur when the sunroof blind is open. Even closing it half way is enough to silence it. But strangely enough the noise can sometimes happen when it's shut but I think I'm just getting delusional. Anyways with the sunroof blind open even banging on the ceiling will cause the rattle so it's definitely there. Something with the curtain airbag I'm assuming? Please tell me somebody has had this and resolved it! Heeeelp!
  12. Oh shit I think you're right. So what I have to get a 2nd hand airbag in order to do this? Now isn't that risky? I may have to get another stock one... Damn it.
  13. I scratched my steering wheel and it's vexing me. I was looking to upgrade to the nice suede and carbon fibre one from the WRX STi. Is this doable? Is it safe? I have keyless entry, does this affect anything? Or do I just unplug the battery and go for it.
  14. Well given that my car rides about 20-40mm lower than yours as a daily drive, my headlights are fine, they auto-level themselves.
  15. I honestly am not sure if I can recommend this suspension kit to anybody. Its fundamentally a Chinese/Australian mixture. I have had issues with it hence it is being reinstalled at the moment. If you REALLY want to gamble then yeah the suspension is from a company called KSport here in Australia. I got the most expensive kit which features a remote that has the psi readout on it. Its not auto-leveling, but hey. "The worlds best auto parts" But look, when I went to a known and reputable company for my air suspension (airride.com.au) they failed to find anything and wanted me to spend thousands on a custom set and then fork out for the American brand air gear. The only reason I didn't go down this path was the only place that would install it wanted about $2000. So all up the cost would have been around $8000-9000. I went with what I have now for a total of $5000 including installation (a little bit more now that I have the rear control arm - only bought to lower the rear a bit given as double bellows can't go as low as sleeve bags). I still feel I have been overcharged, but this is life - if I knew about installing shit and about suspension I surely would have saved a fortune. 16. Fixing up my air suspension. The installers are so.... Anyways the stress will be over soon! Double bellow front and rear and a new lowered rear control arm. Wooo
  17. Going to be putting this in soon: https://www.hardracesuspension.com.au/rear-lower-control-arm-camber-kit-for-subaru-legacy-5th-bm-br-2009-2016.html What do you guys think?
  18. Enjoy! Also I think this color is different to everybody elses
