  1. So I got fined for being too low, then I got a defect for having air suspension essentially. So I then went to work in making the air suspension compliant! This involved installing a handbrake cutout for the remote given the rules state that the remote cannot be accessible to the driver. Well it wont be if its off whilst driving. So I tapped into the EPB with a relay and MOSFET I installed it under the cup holders And because I was worried about being defective for being too low (weird rules) - I raised the car mechanically I then got a new modification plate which essentially said I was not defective So now its low again! More pictures and a video of the relay in action here: https://imgur.com/gallery/Yul51vI
  2. Well it happens briefly. So hopefully it's not too bad... Definitely not when driving. Just cold starts. Literally just moving from park to drive the car just freaks out for a second. It's getting persistent. I'll definitely check for leaks. I will also have to check when or if the CVT was ever serviced/oiled. Thanks for the reply
  3. On a cold or coldish start after putting it into drive the whole car will kinda shake, like its having difficulty getting into first gear or something. I have about 30,000 miles or 47,000 kms done so far.
  4. Had the air manifold thing (for my air suspension) changed as my old one was filled with rust and was causing leaks. Turns out the new one also leaks Then my cut out exhaust valve decided to die - the motor would power up but wouldnt close the valve. I just got a new valve and got it put in! Easy! Video of valve! Last but not least - my car sittin' pretty:
  5. Sorry, yes. It was changed yesterday (big delay) and the tank is still leaking. What the ****? My mechanic cannot see any leaks anywhere - so its a mystery it seems. I may have to live with it.
  6. Took a while but its been figured out - its the actual actuator itself that is leaking. Its not closing properly. Mechanic is ordering me a spare while they get mine serviced. If they cannot do it they need to give me the newer model, which would be good - but it has smaller fittings, so theyll also have to suffer the cost of getting me some adapters. Ha! Drama of bagged cars ey.
  7. Well I found out my air suspension, when at 0psi was dropping the CV joint on the sway bar. Yikes. It also bent the link pin collar. I got it all fixed, now the car actually bags out completely at the front and is maybe 20mm lower. Victory! But now I have major air leakage overnight. Say 40-50psi in each bag and the tank completely empty. FUN! I also changed the fogs to white LED's, turns out it doesn't need a resistor. Nice. Very bright.
  8. Has anybody had experience with Alpine's Halo 9 Headunit? I can't find a photo of it in a 6th gen Legacy, so I am not sure how it would look and if it would block the aircon vents, or just simply look weird. https://www.alpine-usa.com/product/alpine-halo9-radio-apple-carplay-android-auto-ilx-f309 Or what about this amazing looking but probably shit Chinese unit: https://www.canavie.com/104-android-601-car-stereo-audio-head-unit-autoradio-headunit-for-subaru-outback-legacy-2015-2016-p862924.html What are you guys using/recommending? My OEM one keeps crashing and I just want to have some bloody Android support!
  9. Mate I have a cutout on mine, just after the resonator, it pops and goes berzerk. Love it. I press a button and bam its quiet again (changed the mufflers).
  10. Yeah I am kind of sick of the dramas with my car. Like, this is the rear air strut on my car. My mechanic, whom installed my setup told me to get that lowered rear lower control arm as it would drop the car by 2-4cm. Why? Well apparently my rear struts cannot be wound down any further.:confused::confused: I really don't quite get it. It has so much thread there it can surely be wound down into the base of the strut?
  11. So I took this lovely car to get new tires as I got a screw wedged in one I ended up finding this! The toe arm sleeve collar thing was bent! Turns out it was put too high and it was causing shit to rub and hit the sway bar I also found out my rear lower control arms (both) were not screwed in! So I got a wheel alignment and new tires as it turns out my camber was -3 degrees off on one side and -2 degrees on the other... what the ****? So this butchered my tires But it turns out the new tires have a larger more stiff side wall which meant it rubbed on my rear bumper panel so I had to order another set in. Anyways thats my week! Heres a bonus shot of my go loud bits Going to get the car lowered more and have a new collar put in on monday!
  12. Reminds me I still need to get a new steering wheel. Mine got scratched up by my ring while doing a U turn. Embarassing.
  13. Hahaha I never really looked at the manual, I assumed it wouldn't be in there

  15. I love the optima blue top batteries. The extra 2 terminals are a godsend.
  16. Turns out my fog lights are h16 and not h11 like every website tells me. How annoying.
  17. Use imgur.com and type [ IMG] url of image [ /IMG] without the space of course.
  18. Got my lights installed! And my cut out exhaust! Which sounds terrifyingly loud on the open road in my 3.6R. More photos: https://imgur.com/a/uQZCXnC
