Potentially interested in the cross bars…. I didn’t know Subaru made them for our car. I’ve looked high and low for gutter mount cross bars, but could only find the Yakima clip on style.
can I DM you?
Yes, message me!

There is basically only axle backs available, either muffled or muffler delete. Lachute Performance and Nameless. No tune needed and there is also no tune available for these cars.
Here is mine with the Lachute Performance axle back. Don't think it's worth the money, the CVT makes it sound not so great, except at idle and full throttle. More videos on my channel.

1: It revs that high in the beginning to get the catalytic converter up to temperature quicker. Completely normal.
2: Yes, normal also. The colder it gets it also adds a whining sound like a supercharger but that's usually not till it gets sub zero. (Celsius)

Slapped the Lachute Performance axle back exhaust back on again and made another video. Can't decide if I'll leave it on for a bit or go back to stock. Good thing it only takes 10min to change.

I wasn't a fan of the 2020s vs the 2015-2019 but now I think it looks better. This new style doesn't look too bad, could have been a lot worse.
Those new Sport wheels though, not sure what they were thinking.
I'm interested in that new "Sport tuned suspension" hope it swaps over.
Wonder if that refresh comes to Canada, so far I haven't seen anything and we didn't even get the Sport trim on the 7th Gen.

Ignition to "on" without your foot on the brake, buckle and unbuckle the seatbelt 20 times within 30 seconds, then turn ignition off. What is the procedure to turn off the seat belt alarm?Might take a few tries to get it right.
Next time you start it the dinging sound is gone.

If there was one for a 2020+ Outback there would be one for the Legacy, it's the same car. But there is none!!!! You can buy all the accessories but no access port.oh no, even the 2021 Outback XT gets an Accessport from Cobb. I'm bought this Legacy Touring XT about a month ago and have been nothing but disappointed with the complete lack of aftermarket parts available.Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Not their fault the Outback and Legacy CVT can't handle anymore hp and torque.
Whatever changed from the Ascent must of been quite the hurdle.

Only country in Europe which drives on the left is England and Ireland. [emoji6]I changed those setting and it didn't seem to make any difference. I'm wondering of that setting is for Europe where they drive on the left side of the road instead of the right line here in the USMine bounces between the lines, definitely no centering. Some people have reported improvements after a calibration but it's hit and miss.

There is also another 12v socket in the glove box, I have my dash cam plugged into that. Wires run through the A pillar and into the side of the glove box, so no messy cables.I just traded in our 2016 Legacy 3.6R Limited for a 2022 Legacy XT Touring. So far only have driven it home from the dealer but I can say its way better than the outgoing Legacy. Nicer interior for a start, smooth ride, quiet and comfortable. Instrument panel is a lot better and the large touch screen is quick and easy to use.
The one negative I found so far is the lack of a power outlet where the USB ports are. I had the wireless charger added so I'm not sure if that is the reason but I use a radar detector and so far the only place I see to plug it in in the center console. Beyond that I'm loving it.

He is likely asking about the catch can since it's a direct injection engine which are prone to carbon build up on the intake valves. Nothing to do with performance.Hello,Here are some answers as best as I can.
1. Does not really matter. In your climate I would doubt the dealer would put 0W30 in your car but I would ask anyway as some will do this.
2.Dealerships generally will not pit an aftermarket filter on your car. Its more because of liability and the what if factor. Now Independent shops should have no issue with this. I would caution you however on the Purolator Boss filter. I have used this filter on several cars I have all different brands. The filter has a great rating however its just not right for any car I have placed it on. The best bet is to stick to the OEM filters or a M1.
3. Once again the dealerships will shy away from this as its not OEM. if you need to do this you can do it yourself with ease or take it to a shop and have then do it when changing the oil. Just remember to change out the crush washer everytime.
4. This one is tricky. Why do you need a Catch Can in a 7th gen Legacy? I don't see a reason at all. If you plan on modding this car I can say right now go and spend your money on something else that you can do that with like a WRX or a G37 or something. With the CVT in this car it will not perform at all and you will literally get smoked by base Civics. So once again if you are looking at the mod the car route spend your money on another car. And honestly back to your question if they find out the problem was caused by the catch can they will not warranty it. And the Catch can is visible so they can and will blame any engine issue on it.
5. This is already done when you purchase the car. However you can always tell the sales guy that you want to make sure just in case. All they will do is most likely plug it up to the machine and see if its all updated.
Once again not to be an ass but may I ask why you are asking about catch cans in a car that has a CVT? Even if you bought the XT I am not understanding why if you are looking at mods you just did not buy a WRX. You probably will be happier. Did you test drive before you bought so you could see the performance of the car or did you just order the car? For me if no CVT was involved then I could understand. But anyone who buys a CVT trans car and then starts asking about specific mods such as catch cans really should have bought another car.
I would say since you still have a month before the car is delivered go find your model and test drive if you have not. You still have time to make the decision and get out before you take delivery. For me I would be looking towards a nice used STI with low miles or a low mile WRX or even new one if you can find which are probably 90 days out when I look the local dealer.
So far noone has reported carbon build up though, so fingers crossed.

I change the oil every 10k km and filters when needed. The recommended 2nd service at 20k km would have been $500 at the dealer. They can screw themselves, not paying for stuff that doesn't need done like "lubricating of the slider pins" at 20k km, yeah right.

Probably won't find the answer here, also a bit counter productive to look for the lightest wheel to slam big wide tires on but whatever works for you.

Got my notification today. Would be nice to get new updated programming in terms of driveability, but we shall see.

2020+ FA24 engine ECU doesn't compensate for higher than 87 octane fuels according to Cobb tuning.

No idea what coolant, but is it actually low or just in between the marks on the expansion tank? It's normal for the level to go up or down depending on temperature.

Strange, the only other recall so far was the in tank fuel pump.In 1 year and 5000 miles my 2020 has had more recalls than my 2008 with 960000 miles on it. More issues too.Maybe one too much "0" I assume.[emoji6]

If you use the self serve pressure washer, they usually use warm water in the winter but it might be different in your area.
Just shining a light up there it'll be very obvious if there is something left.

Check your wheel well/ liner, probably is snow and ice buildup and now its rubbing over bumps.
