  1. ...cool, this sounds like a plan and the Invidia is cheaper as well. ...noted, at least it won't be taking up space in my garage now, I was going to ditch it if I was able to get the AVO.
  2. ...it seems that the AVO cat-back may be hard for me to get my hands on to. Is there any chance the Invidia cat-back Will bolt up to the Nameless downpipe w/their included mid-pipe?
  3. ...I've talked to them too and Tim's is the other shop I've been looking at. I was just leaning towands SoCal b/c of the othwr services offered and their rep. I wrote Blouch and FP, but never heard back from them. Having a local shop do this work is a huge plus though.
  4. ...has anyone had their entire turbo ported and polished? I'm probably going to ship my stock turbo over to SoCal Porting and noticed that they offer a full port and polish service for a pretty decent price and was wondering if there is anything to be gained in addition to the wastegate porting?
  5. ...understood and congrats, I'm literally in the same boat...well house boat if you will
  6. ...so do we have any solid results from anyone who ported their stock turbo or modified the wastegate yet? Just trying to figure out the best way forward, porting the stock unit, going 18G, or just saying eff it and getting the AVO dp.
  7. ...checking into our hotel before Boxerfest after an awesome time at Jen's.
  8. ...interesting, any chance that BNR is still offering billet 18G upgrade for the 5th gen?
  9. ...a potato phone pic from my local Best Buy parking lot at the crack of dawn this am. I was out trying to score a NES Classic today.
  10. ...just cleaning up the winter wheels before switching back to my summer setup.
  11. ...that video was actually pretty helpful. Also just double checking, the AVO cbe should be Just bolt up to the Nameless dp right?
  12. ...so the cliff notes of this seems like port the stock turbo/wastegate and add the mods to support >= 20psi (keeping the oem bpv seems like a non starter imo) if not just as a preventive measure.
  13. ...my better half and I took off early to finally catch Rogue One, sans little people. She even saved a corner spot for me
  14. ...looks like I'll be adding that Grimmspeed EBCS to my shopping list along w/the wastegate porting.
  15. ...I'm in no rush, building Rome and all, but I am a bit disappointed in the issues that everyone seems to be experiencing and the response from Nameless even w/their busy schedule. Hopefully this gets resolved, but I plan on getting my turbo ported regardless so hopefully that will resolve the issue even if a resolution from Nameless is offered. The only other viable dp option imo is the AVO and from the build threads I've read creep was still an issue there as well. Guess I'm just trying to be calm about the issue.
  16. ...I think that I've found found a local shop that does wastegate porting so I think I'll be going that route. I do wish this worked out a little differently though. Can anyone confirm that the AVO catback will bolt up to the Nameless dp? I think like some others here I have some reservations going with the rest of the system...we'll see.
  17. ...barring nothing happens to my lgt, I think I'll just hold onto it get a project. We're short a Subie now (the 2.5RS was totaled about a month ago) so I could likely get a 3rd car by my wife. I'd really like a 2ZZ swapped MR-2 Spyder or something interesting from Japanese Classics.
  18. ...thanks, hopefully they have a reasonable resolution for all of this.
  19. ...I've been watching this thread/issue develop for little bit now. I'm wondering what this may mean for those of us who haven't installed the downpipe yet. I'm also wondering if an upgraded and ported turbo would resolve the issue.
  20. ...I'm planning on trying the Raptor headers out on my Tribeca. Hopefully it'll happen this year, w/trying to move and still finish my LGT it's taking.g a little longer though.
  21. ...not just yet, I'm thinking a local shop though. Either Mach V or IAG. I've heard good things about both shops, I find myself at Mach V more often though.
  22. ...I've been meaning to do one of these threads for a while now and I guess I'm just getting around to it after having my car for 4-years now ...well I finally really got the modification ball rolling last year and the plan is to keep it going until reach my end goal, a quick sleeperish family hauler. I think it's still one of the milder LGTs here, but I'm doing my best to catch up Stock: It's hard to believe I picked my Deep Indigo LGT from Lynne's Subaru in NJ a little over 4-years ago. ...we drove all the way up on a Saturday and brought it back the same day, fun times...well other than the tolls. I started the mods pretty slowly with a 40% tint all around, smoked the rear turn signals, and yellow over lays for the foglights. Currently, it's mildly modified with some suspension parts and a Cobb Stage 1 flash. I have bit left on my to do list though.
