  1. ...my youngest turned 8-months old two days ago. She's totally adorable, but I would be lying if I said this 4-kid thing doesn't suck a bunch of energy out of you. I want to believe it'll get easier as they get older, but I've heard it's just different
  2. ...I have the STI WRX short shifter plus the Kartboy short shifter, bushing, shift stop, and everyhthing is topped w/the STI leather and aluminum shift knob. I'm very happy w/the results. ...next up for me will the upgraded clutch fork parts/line and finally getting the damper delete done.
  3. ...another vote for IAG here. I had my car tuned by Cleo and it was a great experience, they really do solid work there. If I decide to go upgrade my turbo or go E85 I'll be right back up there to get it done.
  4. ...earlier today, fresh from a detail (2-step paint correction).
  5. ...I dropped my car off at my detailer for a 2-step paint correction. I'm hoping this makes it easier for me to maintain detailing wise moving forward in addition to getting some protection from winter.
  6. ...I got caught by snow before I had a chance to get my winters on (I was going to do it this weekend), well at least I got a nice pic out of it.
  7. ...I took my littlest lady (4-months old) out for her first ride in Legacy over the weekend and she had a blast, she smiled on cold startup and it eventually put her right to sleep.
  8. ...that's the thigh support bolster, it's sort of cool for longer drives for taller drivers. I'm 5'5", so by no stretch super tall but I enjoy using it...and yes, it's standard on the Limited as well
  9. ...I finally ordered part 37255AJ000 for the clutch damper delete, it should be here Friday.
  10. ...so about two weekends ago my clutch went out on me on my way back from a Cars & Cigars meet. Now, I understand that the clock started on the OEM clutch after getting the Stage 2 pro-tune, but I was expecting a little notice before it actually went out. Long story short the clutch and everything associated it w/it went out pretty spectacularly. I had it towed to my local tuner and it was carnage on the inside. Knowing that the car was going to be down for a while my better half gave the go ahead to empty out my parts closet of shame. So in addition to a new ACT clutch, TSK3 kit, and new OEM flywheel; I also had my STI WRX short shifter, Kartboy shifter arm, bearing, shifter lock, trans bushings, STI Group N trans mount, DAMD steering wheel, and a Brembo brake upgrade. So at the end of it all I'm now pretty much 99%-98% w/my car leaving only a few odds and ends left to do. ...so here's my ride as sits today. Getting used to the new clutch has me looking like I don't know how to drive stick or something and shifting now seems incredibly quick/short...a lot shorter than I expected but it's cool. My car was pretty fun drive before, but now it's even better.
  11. ...so this came out of my transmission today, the rest of it (clutch and flywheel) wasn't any better.
  12. ...nothing yet, but after this weekend I'm in the market for a new clutch. I want to go w/the South Bend Stage 2 Daily, but the ACT SB5-HDSS is rated to hold more torque and should be available locally (my car isn't currently drivable). Guess I'll make a few calls today and see what's what.
  13. ...congrats man and if the baby is your first welcome to the club. Little people are an adventure, but it's an enjoyable trip even when it gets frustrating sometimes. ...if family or trusted friends offer help, take it! Be patient, enjoy the journey, and have fun.
  14. ...it seems that I'm still a parts hoarder, hopefully I can get DAMD steering wheel, short shifter, and etc knocked out before summer is over.
  15. ...ah, reading is fundamental Did the two overlays really affect your light output?
  16. ...sounds good, especially that they fit under the stock dust covers. Thanks for the heads up, I'll have to grab a pair of these. Also, what are you running in the foglight position?
  17. ...so my wife and I picked took delivery of our Ascent this morning.
